At ÎçŇąav, there are many scholarship programs that may fit your profile and that can help you to pursue your studies and build a strong resumĂ©. These scholarships are varied, with flexible criteria, and the amounts available are often high.

Research Assistantship

Research assistantships provide students with an opportunity to contribute directly to research projects conducted at ÎçŇąav while developing skills that support their academic, professional, and scholarly development.

Depending on the needs of the project, a research assistant may contribute to:

  • data collection and analysis;
  • literature reviews;
  • the preparation of research documents;
  • the drafting or review of publications, presentations, or grant applications;
  • support for funded research projects;
  • the dissemination and visibility of research activities.

Unless an exception is approved, research assistantships are intended for full-time ÎçŇąav students. They are student employment contracts related to research activities and are distinct from soft-funded research bursaries (SFRB). Contracts are generally established for a maximum average of 10 hours per week, in accordance with the University’s applicable regulations.

How to Apply

Available research assistantship positions are posted in the “” section of the ÎçŇąav website. Interested students are encouraged to consult this section regularly and submit their application according to the instructions provided in each posting.
